Have you started making a meal plan to help you reach your belly fat loss goal? Well, here are some extra tips to help you get on your way. After you understand what foods to incorporate into your eating habits and which foods to avoid, you can move forward by making a plan to lose that unwanted belly fat. For me, a meal plan chart works best.
You can see that I have the days of the week and then breakfast, lunch, and dinner. At the bottom are a few snack suggestions to help make a healthy choice when I’m hungry and need something between meals. I was amazed to find that the oatmeal and fruit for breakfast really kept me full the whole morning. Up until now, I would have breakfast and a second breakfast before lunch. The other meals are also keeping me full just by switching to whole grain bread, buns, and tortillas. After I eat that one main thing for that meal, I don’t even feel like eating something else. Before starting this meal plan, I would make that thing for a meal, then head back to the kitchen to add something else. Then I would eat a pastry and coffee after that! Wow! I haven’t realized how much I’ve been eating!
Now I’ll share 4 tips that I think are pretty neat.
1. To make spaghetti more healthy, I use whole grain pasta. For the sauce, I use pasta sauce but add a can of diced tomatoes. This makes the sauce go further and allows you to use less pasta sauce since most contain some sugar.
2. I always use Organic 100% Grass Fed Ground Beef. You can Google that for more information about why it’s the best choice for ground beef.
3. This is the type of tortilla I use in many of my recipes. This helps you feel full and healthier since it’s made with better ingredients. Start making this recipe by heating both sides of the tortilla in a pan. Once hot, add sauce, toppings, and cheese. Cover for a few minutes until cheese has melted. The it’s ready to eat. This is the FASTEST pizza EVER!
Of course, the pepperoni has a lot of sodium, so use only a little or find another alternative. If you love pizza like I do, you’ll love this alternative. Your local pizzerias and store bought pizza is full of calories, fat, sodium, and carbs.
4. Have you ever had a bunch of bananas that were really ripe and you were not going to eat them all in one day? What I do is peel them and throw them in a container in the freezer. When ever I like, I get them out and put them in the blender or Vitamix to make a smoothie or ice cream. To make banana ice cream, simply blend the bananas, place in a shallow container, and refreeze. Then it’s ready for the next time you’re craving something cold and refreshing.
I hope these tips are helpful. If you haven’t started your meal plan or eating habits yet, now is the time! Don’t put it off. The holidays are coming up, so if you start eating healthy now, you’ll be able to control your eating around family and friends for different events. Of course a little splurging at those events will help you enjoy yourself and help you feel rewarded for the changes you’re making with your eating lifestyle.
I wish you all the best in losing that belly fat and reaching your goal!
